So things have been a little bit quiet lately from the contributors since sending out the full first draft. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad? I am hoping that everyone is busy editing away at each others work!
Which leads me to what is going on in from my side of things.... A few weeks ago you might remember a blog post about creating a marketing video for The20Project. Essentially what came out of that was that it was a great idea but the skills / time was lacking. So, I decided to do a bit of crowd sourcing and was recommended to a small film school in Vancouver called Pull Focus. They committed to helping me out with our limited budget ... so I am in the middle of scheduling the workshop for filming.
The original idea that I had was to go out on the street and get people on camera but that turns out to be slightly to very inefficient. So, what we are going to do is host 10 people at the film school on Thursday August 7th and do a bit of a workshop with them before putting them in front of a camera to answer one small question ... "What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?"... ok, not so easy.
Very excited about arranging all of this and REALLY looking forward to our next round of edits. In the meantime, onto the next task -> Finding an illustrator
